DESCRIPTION:Merger investigations require a complex skill set. In this se
 minar\, we will look at theories of harm for merger cases\, basic econom
 ic methods to be applied and at effective merger remedies. At the same t
 ime we will discuss effective procedures for merger investigations\, inv
 estigation methods and will exchange experiences on the drafting of deci
 sions. Merger control experts from OECD countries will present case stud
 ies and the participants will practise their merger skills in hypothetic
 al exercises.
